Hot chocolate is something I discovered not too long ago, and since then I fell in love with it. A strong dose of cocoa that leaves your soul satisfied and your tongue burned, #RELATABLE ?. From the very first sip at an amazing cafe down in Pune, I rushed home to make one. Youtube, blogs, Posts….. I went through what not to finally end up coming up with my personal recipe. A recipe that yields a perfect brew of cocoa with a strong aroma of vanilla.
My take on the classic Italian treat includes a thin consistency product with a strong punch of everyone’s favorite, Vanilla. A treat to cozy up this winner, a treat to accompany you while you Netflix and chill………. trust me you’ll love it!!
Hot Chocolate
A luscious and creamy dose of cocoa with a touch of whipped cream.
Ingredients
- 200 ml Heavy Cream (1 cup)
- 80 ml Milk (2/5th cup)
- Sugar (as per preference)
- 5 ml Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
- 20 gms Cocoa Powder (1 1/2 tbsp)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, add cream. Heat it for about 2 Mins.
- Now add in the milk, sugar, and vanilla essence. Cook on medium heat for about 5 Mins or till sugar dissolves.
- Add in the cocoa powder and stir continuously to avoid any lumps.
- Cook for another 3-4 Mins and take off the heat.
- Pour in a cup/mug, top with some whipped cream. Your luscious treat of cocoa goodness is ready.
