Pineapple Icecream
Creamy, luscious treat with candied pineapple pieces and a touch of salt.
Ingredients
- 200 ml Heavy cream (1/2 Cup)
- 200 ml Milk (1 cup)
- 50 gm Milk powder (1/2 cup)
- 30 gm Sugar (1/4th cup)
- 40 gm Pineapple puree (3 tbsp)
- 2.5 ml Vanilla Extract (1/2 tsp)
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
- Start by whipping heavy cream till stiff peaks and keep it aside.
- Take a saucepan and boil milk in it.
- Once it reaches boiling temperature, add sugar and stir till it dissolves.
- Now add in the milk powder and mix vigorously to avoid unnecessary lumps. Take it off the stove and let it cool for a while.
- Fold in the whipped cream and add pineapple puree to it. A touch of vanilla and salt will help enhance the flavour, add those too.
- Lastly, transfer it into an aluminium mould, you can use any mould to set the icecream but aluminium chills faster. Refrigerate for 4 hours or till stiff.
- Add some candied pineapple and mint leaf on top and enjoy!!!
